Meekness

A small ocher espresso with a cacti that seemingly fits in stature. A pink background anchors this piece. 

Perhaps the symbolism here is that the cacti has the means to fight back, but instead is controlled and immered in the one who has a higher plan. 

Upon Reflection I'd like to take us to the story of Noah in the Bible. 

Genesis 6:9, 13-14

"This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, the only blameless person living on the earth at the times and he walked in close fellowship with God... So God said to Noah, " I have decided to destry all living creatures, for they have filled the earth with violence. Yes, I will wipe them all out along with the earth! "Build a large boat from cypress wood and waterproof it with tar, inside and out. Then construct decks and stalls throughout its interior."

Noah didn't try to control things, but instead joined with God and obeyed Him in what seemed an absurd project at the time. He trusted God's higher plan.
