Generation To Generation

With the theme of clouds carried through this collection, this piece is no different. The clouds represent a heavenly plan. With three doors symbolizing Father, Son and Spirit remaining the same through each generation. The groupings of flowers and butterflies are each themes also carried throughout the collection symbolizing hope and trust for the future.  We are 'among the living' because He lives is us, even in this world, but with heavenly purpose. This piece could be passed down through generations because He remains the same. 

Uncharacteristically of my daughter, she wanted to snuggle with me. She's a daddy's girl, but Dad was gone for a bit, so she wanted me and didn't want me to let go. This was hard as I had just written out my to-do list for the day, but the Lord stilled my heart. I surrendered to the moment. He's constantly showing me myself and how I'm much like my daughter towards him. The push and pull, the don't let go and then off I go on my own terms again. This realization filled my heart with gratitude for how steadfast He is. He remains the same from generation to generation.
