Meaning Behind the Art:

‘Abode’ is a triptych. There are three different length dowels that are hung side by side to tell a story. This is a story of welcoming warmth, love and peace. It’s a story of a Saviour bringing depth and meaning to one's soul. To find where one belongs is like coming home.

You can read this tapestry from left to right with the black symbolizing sin entering the world, the brown/red symbolizing the cross and Jesus blood shed. Then you can read the light blue as the water poured out and white symbolizing Jesus cleansing us and welcoming us home.
